What to expect
When you go to a Qigong class, you can expect to be led through a simple warm-up followed by a period of focused breathing. You'll then be guided through a variety of postures and movements. These may be performed standing, sitting, or lying down.
When done for general health and wellbeing, the effects of qigong are immediately noticeable. After class you will feel relaxed but energised.
