In our Balian immersion, our Heal'r will guide you through practices and techniques into the space between wakefulness and sleep, where deep healing can occur. They may include therapeutic vibrations of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and other carefully selected instruments.

Tanya Lee had the great honour of being initiated as a Balian by her teacher, Pak Man, a well-known spiritual healer. Pak Man was a "Taksu Balian" with decades of experience, known for treating a wide range of physical and spiritual ailments through methods like therapeutic massage and herbal remedies. He had a reputation for deep healing and for uncovering the root cause of suffering. Treatments Pak Man used were therapeutic massage, herbal remedies, and energy work to address issues such as hormonal and digestive problems, depression, and other conditions. His approach often involved rigorous bodywork that may be painful but was designed to release blockages and emotional pain. He was considered a legendary and effective healer on the island, with some people reporting significant emotional and physical release after a session.
